Irv Katz has been active in the nonprofit health and human services sector for 30 years. Since April of 2001, he has been president and CEO of the National Assembly of Health and Human Services Organizations, an 80-year-old alliance of 70 leading national nonprofit health and human services agencies whose members touch nearly every household in America. Under his leadership, the Assembly has grown by nearly 20%.
Before joining the National Assembly, Irv enjoyed a 24-year career with United Way, 20 years with United Way of Central Indiana (Metropolitan Indianapolis) where he became president and CEO, and 4 years at United Way of America where he served as group vice president for community impact.
